OBE with chorus and children giggling!

I drove to visit someone. By the time I got midway, it was dark. I did not get to where I intended to go. Then, I found that my car was trapped in between two big trucks. I was not sure what to do. Then, there was a gentleman led me to his house. I am not sure why, but I waited in a room that had an altar. While I waited there, I saw a metal scrupture image of a man in the altar. Then the gentleman that led me to his house came in the room and woked up the metal sculpture. I was shocked and embarrassed of knowing he was a real person. I kept thinking, was I behaving appropriately while I was watching that sculpture? He seemed to have magical power.

Shortly afterwards, I floated up and down around my room, then headed across the window, while I was floating, I heard pleasing music and children's giggling sound. I felt that I was not the one that in charge of my flight. Several times, I felt a sharp turn and I immediately changed the direction of my float, almost like a roller coaster ride. I sensed there was an invisible force sending me on this journey. All the while, the singing and children's giggling continued. I woke up feeling very happy indeed.

Electricity, what is it?

Not much progress made on lucid dreaming project. In fact, I have not remembered my dreams for more than 3 weeks.

During the time, I have continued to work on my connection with univese, finished reading the "shadow Diver" and gone on reading "Electric Universe" as of now. As I have indicated in previous post, my book selection start to shift from theory to practical application of any known universal laws. Under previous inclination, I will not be interested in reading physics related material, but I found "Electric Universe" fascinating. As scientists gradually discovered many different aspects and properties of electricity, the application is infinitely expanding. We are taking granted the convenience of electricity in our modern society, that we seldom think about it at all. But looking back, we realized that many scientific breakthrough was the result of many decades (or even centuries) and many scientists relentless pursuit of their vision.

Now we live in a society that electricity infiltrate in every aspect of our life. We can't live without it anymore. Just a short two hundread years ago, we did not even know its existence.

Back to the square one

I have a feeling, I need to get back to square one again with my lucid-dreaming training. My recall ability is getting further behind. I have practically no memory of any dreams lately. That wasn't the case two to three weeks ago. Things are not happening. I went to bed every night with great anticipation, but got up in the morning with zero inspiration. I need to fire up my enthusiasm and instill a beginner's mind.

Think about when I started the lucid dreaming training, I was all excited and full of hope, but now the fire of enthusiasm is nearly extinguished. That is not good. "Lucid Dreaming in seven days", that seven day now stretches to months. How do I project my conscious awareness in my dreams? how? how? I wish I have the answer.

U-Boat!

It is a Saturday, I can spend whole day reading a fascinating book about discovery of WWII German U-boat, called: shadow divers from Robert Kurson. I got this non-fiction in Rowland Height library quite accidently. I was running short of my reading material. I started uninterested in theories, principles. I have read many inspirational books for last four years. Now I want different kind of reading material, I want to read the experience of life inself. The book took me to the heart of human spirit that have stretched my imagination.

With the story unfolded, the destiny have paved the way for two men obsessed to discover the identity of shipwreck 50 miles off the New Jersey coast. I am half way through the book, my spirit is uplifted with every page turn. I shall know the identity of the U-boat that lied in the bottom of the Atlantic ocean in a few days.

In the meantime, my voyage for lucid dreaming seems to go no where. For a week, I don't have significant impression of my dreams, I have hit a void in my dream world. There must be a way to project my conscious awareness into my dream word, yet I have no idea how to do that. I still carry with me the vibrational alarm every day, every hour to remind me doing reality check. I fill my thought of fantasizing lucid dreaming often, and yet when I was dreaming, none of what I have done matters. Dream world is still off-limit to my conscious awareness.

A fantastic astral flight

"I feel that my head is being squeezed, there is a tremendous pressure around it, it is unbearable and scary, I yell " I am God, I am God" several times, then seconds later, I am floating out of my house into the darkness. I float down to a grassy area, I can actually feel the texture of moisturized grass. It is so real, I am conscious and aware.

I say to myself, I should be able to fly. So, I get up and jump several steps and there I go. I fly higher and higher, I feel that I am flying toward Los Angeles area. I am having a good time. I encounter some people, have conversations , actually in complete conscious awareness. I bump into ceiling of a large building just to see if I can pass through it since I am aware that I am only invisible energy, an astral body....."

When I came back to my senses, I felt that my memory did not do justice of my experience. I have experienced a lot more but I can only remember a small portion of it. A lot of details were not remembered. This astral projection last the longest that I have ever recalled, and this is also my first astral experience that it was not just happened spontaneously. I was actually conscious and aware after several seconds initial out of body and was able to direct my movement and had intention to experiment while I was in it. The state of emotion was elation, a sense of awe and excitement. WOW! It was fantastic!

Spiritual Blackout

I feel like I have experienced a complete blackout of conscious awareness of my dream. Last seven days or so, I don't remember a thing of my dream. Despite my diligent work on reality checking every hour during the day, my dream time is still off-limit to my waking conscious mind. How can this be? Isn't the saying "We are what we think" still a true statement?

I admit that my life situation on last week did have some effect of my ability to recall. I slept late, sometimes very late. On average, I probably have only 5 to 6 hours sleep. My body may just need that little time to restore and recharge, and no spare moment for elaborate dream exploration. In any case, I am still on course toward my goal of lucid dreaming.

Lucid dream is dream of being conscious and aware. I imagined many times what would I do if I am conscious and aware? I will fly over the mountains of Tibet, stand on the summit of Mount Everest, walk on the moon, visit Rome, cruise to Hawaii, witness glacier of Alaska and many other thousands of places. What about the possibility of BEING my Higher Self, talking to GOD, visiting other dimensions and other worlds. The last but not the least is to know the truth of our existence, gain wisdom and knowledge of our world and the universes. There are so much to learn and to grow into, I am hardly able to contain my excitement whenever I thought of these mind and spirit adventures. It is like entire universe is on your backyard.

Are these spiritual experiences attainable? I believe it is. It will take time, effort and persistence. Yes, it may take a very long time and a lot of patience.

Walk the dog - A Dream

I had a field day walked the dog. I and my dog were out walking in many places. In the dream, I talked to my dog as if it was a person. I advised the dog to take the cane while walking, so that when it sees something that it does not like, like a nasty dog, it can just sweep the walking cane, scare the dog away and it will be safe. I even demonstrated by swinging my cane several occasions so that our path were clear.

Then we came to a place where we saw the second son in the show of "Melcolm in the middle" hanged himself in a upside down position. I used my cane to hit him in the face, then he suddenly jerked up from a comatose state...then I woke up.

This was an interesting dream. Never had I ever walked the dog in my whole waking life. First, I don't have a dog. Second, I am scared of dog, I have dog phobia. If I walk on the street and I see a cute small dog walking toward me, I will get fearful and nervous and will try to avoid it as far away as possible. To be walking side by side with a big dog naturally like in my dream was unthinkable in my waking life. Well, may be my dream is trying to tell me, nothing is impossible. I could overcome phobia, transcend fear and some day accomplish something that is unthinkable at a time.

A friendly neighbor - A Dream

"A friendly neighbor"

There were several dream scenes mingled together, I could not tell which one happended first.

One time I was playing with my sister's baby, the baby was cute but it was crying. The other time, I was having a good time talking to my neighbor, I had a handsome neighbor, we were close friends. He had this flashing, pleasant smile, we were having fun visiting each other. In the dream, whenever I want to talk to him, I just knock his door, and he is always pleasant and full of smile ..... A quite pleasant dream indeed!

Then I have this fragmented, vague dream memory about 3 types of brain wave patterns....I lost most of the content when I woke up early this morning.

Can conscious frontal lobes facilitate lucid dreaming?

There were several disappointing nights as far as lucid dream training went! But there were gains in other areas. I finished reading a novel from John Grisham, the Broker, an interesting story. I got a package for "Hypnotherapy course - module one". I have used the program for several nights trying to program my mind for lucid dreaming. It has not bear any result yet, but I will continue my learning and exploring.

During the day, I continue using the vibrating alarm to help me randomly asking my self "Am I dreaming or am I awake?", then reality checking by looking at some text, turn way and look again. Of Course, I always find myself completely awake and aware in physical reality. My biggest question is, " How can I maintain conscious awareness while I am dreaming?" It is quite an impossible task, at least to me. While I am dreaming, I am in a totally different dimension, and my conscious mind is not able to penetrate it, because it does not belong.

Now, I read a theory about the likelihood of non-sleeping "frontal lobe" for lucid dreamer. How can I manage to have my frontal lobe not to sleep during my dream time?

What a mess - A Dream

Just before my son knocking my door asking for an "Ambien" sleeping pill, I was having a full-blown dream of having taken four college courses but don't quite remember what classes that I am taking. This is about mid quarter, but I have not attended the class and worse still I am not preparing for the tests that are coming soon. I was confused and nervous. The time was about 1:30am. His knocking abruptly ended the confusion. Glad to be back on waking reality.

My bedroom pergo floor is ruined. There is a dish washing sink just next to my bed, I am doing dishes and water is dripping all over the floor. I even see soy sauce spilling all over the other side of the sink and it smells. The once beautiful wooden floor looks like a mess....

If dreams are reflection of my mind, I must have a chaotic reservoir of subconscious memories that were firing up rapidly last night! What triggered the surfacing of subconscious memory, I asked? Well, it could be anything or nothing. Mind indeed is mysterious!

Magical gadgets - A Dream

Early morning, I remembered a vague dream, but when I fully woke up, I can only remember a sentence, " The bloodline is pure", whatever that means!

Then I fell back to sleep again, I dreamed a group of us taking a trip onto the woods, and deep in the jungle, but we all had miraculous gadgets helping us out on the expedition. For me, I had a pair of magical shoes that I glided along the trail, making my hiking effortless. James had a giant sleeping blanket that kept him warm and somehow also helped his jouney. My sister in San Diego was a director of this trip. After the trip, we settled in a villa in the woods. I remembered we were looking at some sentences, every sentence represented an accomplishment. We checked each sentence and fully satisfied that we indeed accomplished what we set out to do.

Even though the dream seemed to be quite satisfying, but I woke up exhausted, tired, disoriented, my brain was unclear and I was spacing out. It took me sometime to re-orient myself to the waking reality.

Do I know you?

This morning I woke up with the most absurd dream that I have ever had. I could not even articulate what was dreamed in this journal. I am absolutely appalled of the dream content. Do I know myself? If you ask average person, "do you know yourself?" Well, we know pretty much of our look, height, weight , personality, likes and dislikes and so and so... But Do we really know ourselves? I would not be so sure if we think back of our mysterious dreams. We see the tip of the iceberg, the 1-10% of us, but what we don't see accounts for 90-99% of the entire iceberg going down miles underwater.

I believe the hypnotherapy and dream exploration are the tools that would be helpful to understand ourselves. After all, we are not just composed of this body and this mind, we are the product of many thousands if not millions years of evolution. We are a mystery upon ourselves.

"Men, know yourself and you will know the universe and the gods"

Barbecue chicken - A Dream

"We have a picnic at my work. We went to an underground cave to retrieve a chicken that we stored there earlier. We were debating if the underground cave was a good place to keep chicken fresh. After sometime, we established that due to the low temperature setting at night, the underground is perfect to keep chicken fresh.

We then contemplate how to cook the chicken. I suggested to wash it clean, tenderize it, chop it or ground it so that we can make chicken steaks and barbecue them. Well, everyone seems to agree with that!

The scene then changed to a lecture hall, I attended the lecture but had no recall what was being said...."

Our dreams are sometimes hilarious, the stone age and the modern era are all mixed up. The people that I dream are real but setting and logic are quite off on this dream. Well, who will be putting chicken in underground cave for freeze? None of us in my dream have heard about something called refrigerator?

Imagine how this dream would be different if I am lucid, conscious and immediately I will realize that it is ridiculous to freeze chicken in a cave. I might have a good laugh of myself and my coworkers by being so stupid. And yet, I and my coworkers had no questions about what have been presented to us in my dream. We take everything in face value in our dream, or may be I should say "I" take everything in face value in my dream. After all, dreams are the construct of my own mind. To shackle the illusions of dreams take lucidity of our conscious mind. Well, I got a lot to work on!

A shapeshifter? A vampire? - Dreams

A shape shifter? A vampire?

I dreamed a couple, the husband is a vampire. Is the couple related to me? I don't know. After he bite his wife, then he transformed into a werewolf. I saw the wound is huge and out of the side of the wound suddenly a grasshopper ( or some kind of large insect) jumped out of it. The werewolf dressed and behaved like a man. I saw him tossing around the content of a big coffin- like box, looking for something?

I was a onlooker of this whole thing. I was not afraid, it was almost like I was watching a movie.

How did I dream things like that is a mystery. Most of my dreams are practical, and very much related to my daily living. This vampire dream is not an ordinary dream. I did not watch scary movie like this for a very long time. If there is a meaning to it, it is beyond me. The most interesting part is the grasshopper jumping out of the side of wound, a transformation of some kind? who knows?

Psychology/Superconscious? - A Dream

I visited a psychological clinic, the clinic located on the top several-story building. I was trying to drive up to the clinic, spent several minutes looking for parking, and then I found that I had to park in the bottom garage and took elevator to the clinic. The doctor is a good and sensible person, but I don't know why I needed to visit a psychologist..... The time that I woke up was around 2:30am.

The next time I woke up round 6:30 am, I got a strange feeling about the concept of subconscious, it was vague but I felt information was important so I lied back down and tried to recall the detail of content. I twisted and turned, the phrases of ....

-Subconscious runs the show of my life
-It is overly competent , no need to eat and....
-Several days, Super conscious occupy the better part of my daily life
-What is the end result of running my daily life with Super conscious ?

These phrases were repeated over and over in my mind, it sounded like nonsense, I was unable to get past those sentences.... as if the mind was like a broken audio tape recorder caught in a loop, I felt frustrated and gave up.

So far, I have practiced reality checking, intention setting, vibrational alarm setting during the night for at least 3 months, but lucid dreaming is still a non-reality to me. Most of the time, I have hard time even to recall my dreams. It is either a hit or a miss. I need to cultivate having all parts of my consciousness to work in concert and in synchronicity to support my goal of lucid dreaming. But how do I do that?

A hypnotherapist? sounds good!

"I have a computer that once I log onto the Internet, I can see a good sized live aquarium. I see different color fish swimming around in real time, it is cool. I share my computer with people in different shift. Technician are present to fix some cable....

I talk to a counselor about the program that I like to get involve, strange thing is the counselor speaks Chinese during the counseling, and I have difficulty understanding what he said. Even though my native tongue is Mandarin, but I am so removed from Chinese culture, now the language of my dreams and my thoughts are mostly in English. I tell the person counseling me that I like to get into a career of being able to help people. Well, that is quite vague! May be a hypnotherapist?....." a very fragmented dream recall!

More than twenty years ago, Dr. Weiss published a book called: Many lives, many masters. It is such a profound work, this work opened a vast uncharted water in human psychology. Could it be possible that everyone of us has many levels of consciousness? and we are able to tap into the super conscious by using the art of hypnosis? The most precious of this book is the wisdom it tells about how life works, why are we here, the purpose of reincarnation, the lessons we supposed to learn. Under hypnosis, Catherine possessed a vast store of knowledge that was not accessible during her waking life. I was and still fascinated with the power and potentiality of hypnosis.

Lately, I started to contemplate the possibility of getting professional hypnotherapy course and practice hypnotherapy. I am always interested in metaphysics. That is one of the main reasons that I am now walking this path. Then why not work on the field that I believe in and interested in, so that I fulfill my life's intention and purpose? The more I think of it, the more I believe this is my true calling. Yes, it's may be twenty years late, but hey, we are eternal, twenty-year is not even a drop in the ocean. it is perhaps a thousandth of a drop in the ocean of eternity.

Bedding store and creative painting - A Dream

We have a store in a mall, the store is operated by two different business, one side is jewelry exhibition, the other side is bedding supplies. We happen to manage the bedding side.

In a morning before taking care of business, I need to wash my face and put my make up on, but looking all over the bathroom shelf, I don't see any cleaning cream, and I start to blame my mother for having all kinds of moisturizers and creams but don't have any basic cleaners....

I see an artist sitting on the edge of a pond and dabbling a very creative water color work. He is very skillful, by mixing and matching, he painted a very beautiful mountain surrounded by a large lake....

I am sure these scenes are just fragmented parts of a larger, more complex dream work. Isn't it interesting that our dreams have little continuity and consistency from one moment to another? Or may be we just have faulty memory, like my case, I can only remember the tail end of my dreams.

The first episode is to remind me not to overly critical of others. I agree with the teaching of this dream. I sometimes criticize my mom on various things, but believe it or not, I also tolerate a lot of her repeated undesirable behavior. But one thing that I have learned is that I don't harbor any (ill) bad feeling. Since earth is a big school, and we all come here to learn, it is understandable we mess things up all the time. We simply need to learn whatever present to us at the moment and move on.

"Most of us today think of our dreams as odd episodes, as foreign as some ceremonial dance in Tibet. This results in the cutting off of an extremely great and significant portion of the self. We are then no longer able to use much of the wisdom and power of the unconscious."
- Rollo May

Lost in Las Vegas - A dream

My sister ( the one live in New Jersy) and I were in Las Vegas. The first day, everything was fine between us. Then the second day, we had an argument over something, then she left me alone. It was rainy, I was wondering around holding tight of my purse. After a while, I felt I needed to get back to the Casino/hotel to meet her. While walking on the street looking around I suddenly saw the man I used to know. I turned around and ran as fast as I can, but he pursued, he caught up with me fast, and said something that I didn't like to hear, and we walked along and I was devastated inside!

We were turning around a corner and when he was looking elsewhere, at that moment I decided to make an opposite directional run and finally I got rid of him. After a while, I lost my way back to hotel. I knew my sister did not have a cell phone, the only way to reach her is to get there. So, I asked a clerk in one of the shops how to get back to hotel, she pointed the direction and said it is only about 10 miles. 10 miles?! I was appalled, I can't walk 10 miles.... then I woke up!

The time is about 6:30 am. From my experience, if I sleep longer than necessary, I usually have unpleasant dreams ( not necessary nightmares). But I tend to do so on Saturday morning. "Lost" seems to be my recurring dream experiences. This is kind of dream that I don't feel good after waking up, and am glad it is just a dream.

Despite my fervent effort of practicing reality checking every hour during that day, Lucid dreaming is still elusive to me. According to dream research, we have on average of 100 minutes of dream time every night. Isn't it such a waste that we don't recall most of them? of course, ignorance let most to believe that dream is unimportant. So, we sleep through 20 years of our life unconscious. The jewel of our vast consciousness remains mysterious and hidden.

Our waking conscious is like the tip of the iceberg. It accounts for about 10% of our total consciousness, yet we pass the opportunity of knowing our deeper, truer self lifetime after lifetime. For me, this search to know myself is utmost important in this lifetime. Well, what more has to say other than " keep on, and keeping on!"

Floating on a European-style city - A Mind Projection

Floating on a European-style city!

While I was in Hypnagogic state of being, a state between sleep and awake, I felt a warm invisible force surrounding me, a blue blanket covering me and sending me on a floating voyage. I was floating over a beautiful city high on the sky and looking down, I saw the city under was buzzing with activities, people walking, singing, acrobate group performing, and interestingly I saw monkey group concert in full swing. The buildings of the city felt like European style of churches. The whole scenery are vivid and colorful. The time was 12:30am.

Then I woke up again at 4:45am from vibrational alarm. I knew that I dreamed but had no idea what was it. I have dry spell the past several days.

Practice continuous awareness!

The dream yoga of Naropa is founded on the core understanding that waking consciousness, dreaming and death are all illusory states that need to be transcended. This gives rise to three periods of practice:

1. during the days, remind yourself that you are dreaming;

2. at night, become conscious that you are dreaming and practice transforming and directing your dreams- for example, by traveling to one of the heavens and receiving instruction from a spiritual teacher, perhaps a Buddha;

3. control your reactions to what you see and experience in any of the bardo realms (or states of transition) so you can move beyond attachments and desires into the clear light of higher consciousness. The aim is continuous awareness.

Dad, It is ok to leave whenver you are ready!

Yesterday, all children living in the state of California went to see our dad. Mom and I got up real early, had a McDonald breakfast, shopped for the fortune (health) tree, and picked a beautiful picture, titled: The fields of lavendar provence, France. The picture is framed in a background of a clear blue sky, mountain range, and one and only stone house standing in a dreamy fields of lavendar flowers. Clean and simple. We believe dad will like it. My brother Albert brought home grown yellow, pink and white roses in a clear vase. The room where my dad stay seems to lighten up considerably, I wonder why we have not thought of doing that before.

This gathering is suggested by my sister Ming-Yea, and she got the idea from a book she read called " Invisible Power" a book I read sporadically at one time. The book suggested that for a peaceful transition of a dying person, they need to know that their family love them, forgive them and it is ok to leave whenever they are ready.

In light of this, Ming-Yea suggested of getting a greeting card, and Mom went and got a pretty one, and we put above thought on the card (and some more). We all signed the card and put on names of my two sisters who reside in the East Coast and read the card to my dad. I am sure he gets the message.

Keys to dreaming true

Since most of my books that I read are borrowed from local library, There is a time-frame limitation of 3-weeks and another 3-week renewal for my study. Some books can not be practiced and digested in only 3 or 6 weeks, so I like to copy down some good verses for future reference. "Dreaming True" from Robert Moss,

Several keys for Explorations on waking from dream

1. Trust your feelings, listen to what your body or feelings are telling you.

2. Reality check, Ask yourself whether it is remotely possible that you will encounter the scenes and events in your dream in waking life.

3. Write a personal one-liner, simply sum up the content of the dream as briefly as possible.

4. Ask the two vital questions, What do I need to know? and what do I need to do?

5. Go back inside the dream, The meaning of a dream lies inside the dream itself; that is to say, inside the full dream experience, as opposed to the memory of the dream, which is often fragmented and garbled. The best way to get at the meaning of the dream and determine if the message should be taken literally or symbolically is to reenter the dream. The best time to go back inside the dream is fairly soon after waking.

A quite, protected environment, the ability to relax, set clear intention, use vivid picture will enable one to do that.

6. Determine what action is required and do it.

These are the pointers that I like to remember to do upon waking from a dream.

Concentration Camp - A Dream

This is very difficult for me to write. I can only describe the experience as if I went to hell during my dream time. I was tortured, maimed and went through all kinds of psychological and physical abuses. Where I had been, felt like world war II's German's concentration camp. I was not alone in that experience, I sensed many people (strangers) have gone through the terrible treatments.

Strange thing is, when I woke up after the dream which was just 1:45 am, I was not feeling bad at all, all that I said to myself is "The ordeal is over", it is over in my dream since I have lived through it in my dream. I actually felt elated, as if I have repaid my Karmic debt.

According to some dream experts, it's not just the experience itself, but also how you feel after the awakening accounts for the quality of your dream. You could have gone through hell and encountered the most vicious beings and came back felt totally triumphant. In my case, that was how I felt when I was awakening. I felt pretty good despite the gruesome content that I had experienced.

A party without food -A Dream

A party is taking place at my new home. The design of new home is odd, especially the kitchen area. There are column type of structures from the entrance of the kitchen all the way near the stove. I can't quite reach the stove area, without moving stuff or to bumping into some things.

There is a little drinking fountain next to the sink. It is kind of funny when someone ask what is the drinking fountain for? Immediately, my brother Albert simply move the fountain over the wall above the stove and turn it on. Now it looks like a sprinkler and make the kitchen area all wet. On the other corner of the kitchen, I see some worms crawling all over some appliances, that have everyone's appetite completely turned off. But I can see James is making something in the frying pan. It is a party without much food. Albert and his wife are now ready to step out of the house to get some real food.......

Vibrating Alarm!

Since Sunday, I carry a vibrating alarm around me during the day. I set up hourly interval to remind myself to do a reality check. There are four steps for reality checking

1. Ask myself, Am I dreaming or am I awake? Look around, check any text or clock available, look at it, turn away and look at it again. Has the text or time changed for the second or third look?

2. Ground myself, Take a deep breath three times, relax and feel my body within

3. Then imagaine if I am dreaming, what would I do, how would it feel to be conscious and awake in my dream

4. Affirming " Next time I am dreaming, I am going to realize that I am dreaming", feel it, believe it

The vibrating alarm and reality check methods come from Lucid Sage http://lucidsage.com

The alarm is a wonderful tool. I used to do the reality check only when I remember doing it, now every hour, the vibrating alarm will remind me of doing reality checking. Due to the habit of checking and setting process, I become keenly aware of the passage of time. Now I realize what is that mean when we say "The time is ticking way".

Holy Spirit Strikes Again! ??? - A Dream

Stephen Laberge described the short dream as dreamlet. I happen to experience two dreamlets this morning.

"I am in a lockbox rental business. One day a man (look like a white boy with blond hair) come with his three kids (also look like boys, but they are black) to open their lockboxes. The man has a larger box so he uses a heavier key to open it, and kids use smaller key to open a smaller box. I am just observing their coming and make joke with the kids of their speedy opening of their smaller box, kids are smiling at me but the man remain serious and unaffected of my comment."

Holy Spirit strikes again! Holy Spirit strikes again! These were the words I repeated several times when I woke up, and I felt a little silly and chuckled to myself.

"I was in a place felt like a library or congregation of some kind, I saw a golden plate emitting golden letters on it. I read them and felt the words are priceless, they are Principles of Living. When I was ready to copy the words down, one of my coworker Eleanor was just sitting and ready to ask question to Librarian. So, I excused myself and just about to move to other location, the alarm sounded in such a terrible timing. I woke up, I knew the words are great inspiration, but don't remember what they are."

If I know how to re-entry to a dream scene, I might be able to retrieve the words on the golden plate. That would be wonderful.

Awareness - A secret to spiritual growth

From Asoka Selvarajah -Ezine

The whole spiritual life, when honestly examined, boils down to Awareness. As you study spiritual traditions the world over, this is the one common factor that occurs over and over again.

A famous dying Zen Master, was besought by her disciples for her final words of wise teaching to them. She replied “Awareness!". Those were the only words she would reply, despite repeated attempts to persuade her to say more. That word, awareness, was the summary of her entire teaching.

Hence, it is much easier to cut through all the confusion and contradictions, if you are willing to bear this simple point in mind. Awareness is at the heart of Enlightenment and ultimately leads to it. That is why the Buddha and others stressed the importance of mindfulness practices; being aware of your breathing, of your eating, of your walking, of everything that you do at all times.

We are a mystery unto ourselves. We act, and do not know why we acted as we did. We wish to improve ourselves, and yet cannot understand the seemingly infinite inertia that holds us firmly in our habitual places.

The secret to spiritual growth is Awareness - at all times and in all places. It is through the simplest practices of Awareness that you can advance; slowly and imperceptibly at times like an unfolding flower; rapidly and dramatically at others, like a crashing wave washing away seaweed and debris lying on the beachside.

The major problem that most of us face is balancing our urge for inner growth with the practical difficulties of living in modern society with its myriad demands on our time and energy. Here are a few ideas to ease that problem:

(1) Remember that there is no division between spiritual life and mundane existence; that EVERY practical occurrence can be used as an opportunity for spiritual and personal growth. Take it on yourself to see where the personal growth lessons lie in EVERY daily experience or problem you encounter.

(2) Schedule several brief but regular “time out” sessions in the day, where you can close your eyes, breath slowly and regularly, and just center yourself. If you can find a place of silence and solitude to do so, then so much the better.

(3) Learn to trust yourself and your insights more. Remember that outer teachers and spiritual traditions exist only to point you to the ultimate teacher: the Higher Self within. Cultivate Awareness of your inner prompting and be willing to follow them more.

(4) Keep a journal of your discoveries. This serves as a powerful feedback process. No lesson you learn is ever forgotten, and every lesson feeds back into your awareness.

(5) Remain persistent, determined and encouraged. It is very easy to become discouraged in personal work and feel you are getting nowhere. No work on inner growth is ever wasted. Make no comparisons with others, and have no expectations. Let your growth proceed as it must… at it’s own pace. Each person’s needs are individual, as is the rate of each person’s growth. All that is required is persistence and commitment to increased awareness.

Remember that you can cultivate Awareness, and increase self-understanding in so many situations. Contemplating the clouds. Watching two work colleagues interact. Inwardly observing your own emotions and reactions in situations and interactions. Through meditation. By using your journal.

Let your spiritual growth be light and playful; not heavy and “deep” to the point of being a weight around your neck. You don’t need bells and incense. You don’t need “channeled” teachings from someone else. And you don’t need tons of self-help tapes, books and seminars.
All you need is you, and your willingness to grow and develop. A teacher can help you greatly (and is even necessary at a certain stage), and a spiritual tradition can serve to ground you in established wisdom. However, don’t let all this get you down, or make the whole thing worrisome. There is so much you can do with the practice of simple Awareness and inner observation.

By simply doing this, you can make so much advancement on the path to enlightenment and freedom from suffering. Moreover, the good news is that you can remain in this world; centered and at peace in the midst of all circumstances, free of fear and inner suffering.

Awareness. Cultivate it - and let it cultivate you.

Tapping into subconscious for problem solving

For over two months I had trouble reconciling Newmans Own account. I have gone over detail several times, and I thought there was no stone unturned, but January and February's account were still not reconciled! I started to feel stress and frustration.

Since I have read so many stories about dream incubation for problem solving, so I recited my intention and affirmation several nights hoping my dream can reveal the missing pieces. Night after night, I either dreamed something else or I simple did not rememeber my dream, the dream incubation method did not seem to work for me.

I did spent the last sunday afternoon go over another round of inspecting to make sure I did not miss any pieces, but with no close to solving the puzzle.

About two nights ago, after dinner, I thought it's about time for me to revisit the issue, and time was running out, I need to get this resolved before the year end of March 31's closing.

Once I settled, my gut feeling told me to go through a different approach to check the accuracy of my data, in less than 3 minutes, I found the discrepancy and problem for Janaury was immediately uncovered. I was elated! Then with this new found confidence, I then checked and adjusted the February's data, since some of the February's balance was carry over of January's reconciling items, therefore I knew immediately what should be there, and holy moly! I found the answer in less than another 3 minutes. The total time it took to reconciling was less than ten minutes. It was incredibly magical!

This isn't my first time using my subconscious for problem solving. Dream incubation may work, but in real life, I use what I called problem solving incubation. The only requirement for it to work is that I need to put enough effort and focus on the problem. Take the problem and think, calculate, manipulte the data, look at it in every angle, go through each minute detail, leave no stone unturn for a period of time and then let it go for a period of time. Without intensive and extensive information and focus, our subconscious will not have enough material to work on.

I have been using this method to solve this account many times. After I spent enough time on it, I will usually tell my friends that I will sleep on it. The answer usually come fairly quickly.

Face covered with mud - A Dream

We have a big family, live in a big house. We like to make fun of our neighbor. There is a old guy in our neightbor who can't walk. We decide to challenge him to get upstairs. The incentive for him to do that is that he gets to visit me. So, he finally gets upstair with a bunch of other people.

While they are up to where I stay, oh! no, I suddenly discover that my face is all covered with mud (kind of facial mask that ladies use to firm up the skin), and mud also inside of my mouth. I have a hard time to swallow, and now I am getting help from my mom to the sink to choke up the mud in my mouth, and then I find that the sink has plastic flat plate on the top, make it difficult to wash my face unless I dock down really low, an awkward position to be....then I woke up!

Leaking house and earth school

"My son and I are in the city of Santa Monia. We are visiting a house, there are several people in the house. The house is old and leaking on the roof. Especially the rainy season. It is not a pleasant place to be. My son feels very annoyed that house is leaking everywhere, and I am trying to explain to him that the reason the house is leaking is because this was their Grandma's home, it is old and built long ago. A new house will not leak......"

The first question is why did we visit that house?
The second question is why did I have to explain and almost to the point of justify the fact of leaking house to my son? May be this is just an ordinary dream that like ramdom firing of our nerve system that does not worth a dime to ask why. Or may be there really is a meaning?

In our waking life, we sometimes have to compromise our position with that of others. To walk the path of spiritual development, I know very well that even the commonly called failure is not truly failure. Everything has its own timing. We will struggle, we will blunder, we will forget, we will lose despite of our best intention and our mightiest effort. One thing that keep me looking at myself and others situation with compassion and empathy is that "We are gods", only now that we are immersed in the humanly experience and forget our true identity.

The other day, I visited my dad in convalescent home. I saw many elderly people in wheel chairs, lying on bed in pain, need almost all assistance in every day living, and my dad is now using artificial means of tubing to sustain his life. All those scenes look miserable.

But on the other end, this life is only a parenthesis in our forever lasting eternal life, a drop in the ocean, a grain of sand on the beach, a blink of an eye.

This life, like any other lives that we lived is a giant school, our curriculum were predetermined before we enroll. Our teachers are many and everywhere, they could be parents, teachers in mini school, our children and even strangers. We learn through series interactions with others. Everyone has different curriculum and since we are all unique in our spiritual position, therefore the lessons are vast and varied. If we are all like school childrean, does it make sense to say "To err is human"? Of cause, otherwise we won't be here.

Dream as the experience of the soul

In the East, the cultivation of lucid dreaming has always been woven as an esoteric element into the religious practice of Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism and the other various religious traditions that trace their roots back to these great sources. The Tibetan Buddhists (almost all of whom are in exile since the annexation of Tibet by China and the unsuccessful rebellion against Chinese rule in 1959, after which the Dalai Lama himself went into exile) have carried this tradition of lucid dream incubation to a state of great elaboration.

The Tibetan strain of Buddhist thought declares that the experience of the dream is one and the same as the experience of the soul after death. The Tibetans believe in successive reincarnation, and for them the soul is more often referred to as the entity-the continuity of personality and karma over successive lifetimes. It is this part of the total psychic being which experiences dreams while alive, and this part which goes right on dreaming after death.

For the Tibetans Buddhists, each time we sleep we experience the condition of the soul in our dream. If we were die in our sleep, we would simply continue the dreams we were having. Thus, for the Tibetans the ability to remain lucid and self-conscious in the dream state is a matter of the utmost religious importance and significance. Their belief is that in the great majority of cases people who have not meditated or developed themselves with some spiritual discipline die and are driven to reincarnate again out of terror, in a vain hope to escape from the increasing horrific dream-scape of the soul after death.

The Tibetan believe that through cultivating dream lucidity while alive, the entity can then perceive the Bardo Worlds for what they are. In doing so, the soul in the Bardo World dismisses the illusions of increasing horror as mere illusions-mere projections of unconscious energies into the illusions of dream. Having achieved this recognition and insight into the nature of life after death, such an enlightened soul can pass into total and complete union with the divine.

With such self-awareness, the discarnate soul can also choose to reincarnate and re-enter the world of human existence consciously as a "boddhisattva"- a being devoted to the enlightenment of all others and the consequent alleviation of all illusions of pain and misery. Some sects take the " Boddhisattva's Oath" to return until every sentient being is enlightened. Others to return until even the grass is enlightened, while still others swear to reincarnate with increasing clarity of consciousness and intent until even the stones are enlightened.

The Tibetan Buddhist exerceises for the acquisition of lucidity are many and varies. Almost all of them involve manipulating the environment of the dream in specific ways once lucidity has been achieved, and meditating on these activities while awake. In such a manner, over the course of a lifetime, the Tibetans believe that will and resolve are strengthened and the entity is prepared to reunite with God or reincarnate with equal consciousness.

Viruses! - some fragmented dreams

Viruses!

" My family need to do some kind of planning. We now live in a different house. I downloaded some software program earlier and have introduced some viruses that are now invading our house. I take a broom going around the house to get rid of viruses. When I am ready to dump the viruses outside of my house, there are two men and two women forcing entry to my home. They corner me and my mom, and claim that they are my sisters and my brother-in-laws. I know that they are imposters but don't know how to get rid of them.

Somehow, I manage to sneak past them to upstairs where my son is sleeping. I tell him the problem and we start to plot a plan to take them out. My son seems confident that we will be able to do it. But, very strangely, at that very moment I suddenly realize that I need to get up and record my dream and I wake up from it.....don't know what happen next. "

The dream happened in the middle of the night of 2:00 am. After I recorded the sketches of my dream, I thought of re-entry to the dream just to know how the story ends, so I went back to sleep and started where I left off and drifted off to oblivion.

By the time I got up at 6:30 am, I have several fragmented dreams that I could not recall.

Why dream seems to always has no definite ending? We usually wake up in the middle of hot pursuit by a monster, a fall into the dark canyon, lost direction and don't know where to turn, in my last case, plot a plan to take out enemies. Yep, there are no closures in dreams. It is open for our exploration. Wherever you turn, you are experiencing one of the parallel universes, and according to some mystics, there are infinite number of parallel universes exist simultaneously at any moment. Wherever you are, whatever you do, you are fine. "Life is but a dream!".

A time for everything!

Such a beautiful Friday afternnon in Southern California, so, I skip my work this afternoon to run some errands, picking up books from library, getting maps from Triple A office, reading a dream work book, and getting a hair cut. I feel great of doing all these and have actually accomplished a great deal in a short 3 hours.

Life is too short to be tying up ourselves constantly in the dull office work. I am actually planning to do this often to getting into the habit of occasional relaxation.

The book that I am reading is called "Dream Work-Techniques for Discovering the Creative Power in Dreams" by Jeremy Taylor. Very helpful book indeed. The author has extensive experience in working with groups of people interested in exploring their dreams. He noticed people that are enthusiastic and very positive toward their dream exploration often stop remembering their dream right after joining the group session. What he discovered is that too much emotional attachment for dream exploration may work against us.

That may explain why I have stopped remembering my dream for last several nights. But no matter! Rome is not built in one night! so take heart and relax, there is time for everything!

I forgot my key! - A Dream

"I live in a dormitory type of facility, the room has an automatic lock. I need to carry my key around all the time.

This morning, I go to bathroom to wash my face and I forget my key. I am very nervous because I just realize all of my make-ups are in the room. Since I always put make-up on every day, not putting on make-up is like going out in the world with bare feet. It is just not something that I do. It is really annoying and..... I could not remember the rest of the scenario. "

Dreams of being late, losing direction, forgetting important stuff seem to be common theme when I have slept more than my fair share.

No news is not good news

For the last several days, I had difficult time getting into my dream routine. I will get up after the first interval and then unable to go back to sleep again. Therefore no news to report for my lucid dream training.

I often found some articles, or books in the Internet talking about lucid dreaming in seven days, lucid dreaming in 30 days , lucid dreaming in 20 minutes, and so on..... I now wonder, are these people really know anything about lucid dreaming? Or they may be just copy the material from others and they themselves do not practice what they preach. Writing a book in this age is not difficult. We all have all the worlds of material literally at our fingertip. From my personal experience, I don't think lucid dreaming can be mastered in 20 minutes, a weekend or even in a month. I myself have been practicing conscientiously for about 2 months and yet I can't even recall half of my dreams.

As one of the authors suggested, learning to dream consciously is like learning a new language. How long will it take to learn adequately a new language? A month? six month or may be a year? The fact of the matter is, it takes time, sometimes a considerable amount of time, as I now realized. Well, it is one of the skills that worth going after, I am sure of that.

House hunting - A Dream

This is a Saturday morning. I woke up from the loud noise of on-heater a few minutes before 4 1/2 hour interval of 6:00am , my mouse was dry, I went downstairs to turn the heater thermostat down, and back up to lay on the bed trying to remember my dreams. Nothing came up. I reset the alarm to 7:30am and went to bed again.

Mom, my two sisters were with me, we were on our way to see a house located in the state of Missouri. We took on a train ride very conveniently take us right to the house. I remember there was a conductor making conversation with us along the way, although the content was not clear. In order to prevent getting lost, my younger sister and mom was a team, the other sister and me was another team, taking care of each other. We got into the house, and inspected the layout, there were at least two bedroom downstairs, and bedrooms were situated adjacent to each other. We stayed over night to get a feel of this house. I remember seeing a compass made out of white piece of paper, with strange dial and marking on it. I was trying to figure out how this thing works, and we supposed to use it to check the direction.

The house was adaquent but not great. Then again we took a train ride back home. The dream faded and I got up very tired! This was another dream that did not follow through of its course. I thought of dream re-entry of shamanic approach. Could it be possible to know what we were trying to accomplish by going back to the dream and explore deeper onto the message it might bring?

Mixed matched of dream pieces!

I was in the theater for China's program to train new, young stars of dancers and singers. I saw a beautiful girl, she was a teacher demonstrating her talent and skill in dancing and mostly singing. She had beautiful voice.

My sister and I were spectators of all these, there were many young girls surrounding that teacher. The teacher's performance was impeccable.

Then the scene changed to an expansive grass of outdoor. Our company was having a conference, so we gathered together on the lawn next to our office building to discuss some issues. But what were the issues that we were discussing, I have no impression.

A figure, a person, giving a lecture, and I was flipping through my journal to get a match of the date of lecture. The reason of my finding a match was not clear.

When I got up about 6:30am , I felt completely exhustive and extremely tired.

I did not feel tired for the last several days when I could not remember any trace of my dream. Could it possible that the act of remembering of my dreams can consume a good amount of my energy?

All the above frament of dreams have one thing in common, it is incomplete. It is as if I were reading random segments of a novel without knowing the whole story. I am wondering, with the re-entry of dream as Mr. Moss suggested, could I retrive other pieces of the puzzle and see a whole picture of my dreams? There are so much to learn and so little time to learn it.

"Conscious Dreaming" from Robert Moss

The last several days I have not remembered any trace of dream. One night, I got up with no recall of any dreams whatsoever. Then, last night, I heard alarm sounded at 5:00am, but I just shut it off and went back to sleep. I was disappointed of myself. I think I am highly motivated as far as my conscious dream training, but my motivation did not carry its weight through my dream world.

I am reading a book called Conscious Dreaming, from Robert Moss. A serious dream work that using dreams for spiritual development. I am particularly interested in Shaman's dream work. This is not the first time I have read about shaman. More than a year ago, I read several books about shaman, they are much more than just conscious dreamers and healers.

I like Mr. Moss's definition of shaman, "A shamanic dreamer is a conscious dreamer who has developed the ability to enter the dreamworld at will to communicate with dream guides, to journey across time and space and into other orders of reality, and bring back gifts of healing and insight for the benefits of others." I just ordered a CD from Michael Harner's shamanic journey, I hope it can help me embark on conscious dream work.

For years, I have been fascinated the infinite number of possibilities that conscious dreaming can bring. It is time to experience the power of our mind.

Accrued Taxes in NY and MA!

I was about to awake at the tailend of my dream, suddenly I heard a sharp calling of my name from my mother. It was loud as if it was right next to my bed. My body jerked and I woke up could not rememeber much of the dream content. I stayed silent for a moment, then I realized this is what they call, hypnagogic sound.

I remember vaguly about accrued taxes. The rule was that while mom was sleeping, there was no taxes accrued in the state of Massachusettes and New York, the rest of the states would continue to accrue. Whatever that mean, I have no clue. We live in Califronia, we are familiar with New York, but why Massachusettes ? We have no relatives or friends who are even remotely close to it. I was preparing my 2004's tax return this afternoon, that was for federal and the state of California. But, New York and Massachuesettes ??

I distinctly felt there were other dreams that were more significant than this one. So, I immediately lied back down on my bed, trying various positions to see if I can remember some part of it. But after about half an hour's trying, nothing came up. It was time for me to prepare for the day.

James had an oral surgery to remove 4 wisdom teeth. The procedure went well. He will recover soon.

Inappropriate behavior!

I seldom take serious nap in Saturday afternoon. What I usually do is to meditate with music. But since I am in this dream training, I thought it might be opportunity for lucid dreaming.

I saw my son's car get worked on by our mechanic, after he fixed the problem, James tried to show appreciation, so he went over and tried to hug that guy. I thought it was not appropriate. The guy was reluctant but went along. Later on, I told James that "you do not embrace a guy like that unless he is family member or you know him quite well". So, James went back to talk and apologize to him. All went well.

The scene then abruptly changed to a whole bunch of school kids of 3-5 years old crammed into a beautiful red convertible sports car. They were actually ready for a ride. I saw that and felt it was wrong for the kids that young to drive. So, I lectured them and called upon parents for their wrong doing. Then dream faded. Was I lucid? No.

For the above two dreams, there were certain level of consciouness in play, so I thought James behavior was inapproriate, and kids 2 to 5 years should not be driving sports car. But the amount of consciousness was not enought to alert me and help me to realize that I was dreaming.

"I will experience a lucid dream tonight, and I will remember my dream"

Lost again! Spiders as my passengers!

I went for a trip in Walnut area, now I was ready to go home, but I suddenly realized that I did not remember how to get home. I went to a Senior Citizen Club to ask how to get back to my home. They had no clue either. But one of them told me to hold on and he was going to find out that for me. I waited, and waited. Then I thought I gave them wrong information, I really live in Diamond Bar, not Walnut, as if it would make a difference. The guy never came back and office is closing down because it is about 5:00pm afernoon.

So, I turn around and got into my car. Holy moly! I saw many huge spiders and spider webs all over the passenger side of the car. That was quite a shock, one of the spiders were about 7 or 8 inches long. I immediately got out of the car and said to myself, " I got to tell James about this"! I woke up from that.

While I was squibbling the journal into my notepad, I found out I lost strength of my fingers, it is as if the energy of my fingers or hand has been completely drawn out. It was quite an effort that I wrote down my journal.

Now I can see, there is a common thread of my dream. I got lost everytime I got to somewhere, even in my own neighborhood. What is that? Did I have a driving phobia? Is my sense of direction so bad, that I will even get lost in my neighborhood? Well, I admit my sense of direction is pretty bad.

As to spiders, it reminds me what James told me one time , he said that he has a contract, so to speak, with our house spiders. They have an agreement of not invading each others territory. He explained to me one night, he went to his bathroom, and saw a spider busy building the net from ceiling down in the middle of the bathroom. He just told spider out loud that "You should not be here. I need to go into this space to do my thing. I suggest you pack up and go somewhere else". So, he left the bathroom, and played some games. About may be 5 minutes, he got back to the bathroom, and he saw the spider is packing up his web and ready to leave. And soon, the spider was gone, out of sight. I thought that was fascinating! But that was not the reason I dreamed spiders.

The real reason is because the morning before, I killed a spider in my bathroom. I was really debating what I was supposed to do. In a way, with my spiritual training, I should have letting it go, God created spiders and me. If I have a reason to live, spider has a reason to live. I have no right to destroy it because he gets in the way. But in an instinct, I did it anyway. Perhaps guilt prompted the dream. May be!

Water slide - A Dream

My house in Taiwan is huge, the backyard has amusement park kind of ride. I take stairs up to one of the ride, I suddenly realize that the slope is steep. I am holding on the side bar and feel apprehensive and scared of its height. At the moment I also notice that the stairs are gone. There are only two options to get off here. One side is a water slide, the other is a plastic type of cloth that one can slide slowly down the slope. I don't know how to swim so I decide to take the other route down. It is slower, not as exciting but I can't imagine myself sliding down the water slide, well I could get drowned, you know.

Then the scene changed to a display of published e-books on the counter, look quite impressive. Is it I the publisher or someone else, I am not sure. But when I woke up, e-book publishing was ringing in my ears.

I have only one hobby, that is I enjoy reading and occasionally I also enjoy writing. Since I heard so much of people saying, you can be successful in what you do only if you enjoy what you are doing. My passion is to read, to gain knowledge and also for pure entertainment. With public library as my source of books, I have read many hundreads of books all these years. What could be more satisfying than e-book publishing that can benefit other people as well as enrich myself and doing what I love to do! Yes, e-publishing is the way!

Ancient race of Markee - A Dream

Ancient race of Markee!

I was a member of Markee group, an ancient race, disciplined, royal, courageous, and honorable people. We can sometimes be aggressive and risk taking for the sake of self defense. In my dream I was a woman, earning great respect from our people.

This dream was a declaration of statement as far as what I can remembered. I do not remember any detail other than the proud feeling of that statement and a short image of group of people and myself.

My dreams are usually short. That probably has something to do with my personality. I do not enjoy mindless chatting, pointless gossiping, or small talks. If dream is the reflection of mind, then no wonder my dream would be short, hopefully to the point.

This Markee group reminds me Star Trek-The Next Generation, used to be my favorite TV series. My dream probably drew info from those episodes.

Four approaches! -A Dream

I went to bed quite late about 1:00 am last night. So, I set the alarm going off 6:30am my normal wake up hour for work. I woke up before the alarm went off, and I tried to organize my dream pieces while still lying on the bed. I had a feeling that either I was lecturing to myself or talking to other people about four approaches to life or may be four approaches to do things. I was really struggling to memorize it. Everytime I thought I got the 4 approached memorized, a few seconds later, I would lose it. I must have gone over the list several times. Here is my impression of these four approaches.

1. Prioritize things to do, and procrastinate those unimportant ones.
2. Random selections of things to do, go with the flow.
3. Do things based on the demand of others.
4 Do things in the sequence of chronological order.

I woke up after this information, there was no long drawn detail about these approaches, short and sweet.

I can tell why I put prioritize things to do first. It may be selfish, but I am in favor of being true to myself. Lately, I feel I am a bit overloaded in my job. Despite the demand of a job, I still take time to do my inner work during lunch hour, and I never ever skip a lunch. I know that my inner work is more important than just make a living. The fact that I was making a presentation out of it could indicate my commitment to my inner growth. Dream is a reflection of our mind. How true!

A lucid dream? No, only a dream.

Dream as a progress report of life

I am reading a booked called: Dreaming your real self by Joan Mazza. It's an excellent book about dream, using dreams to understand ourselves. After several chapters, I started to explore my dream journals in this blog page. I feel there are other possible interpretations of my dreams.

Keeping a dream journal, Joan suggested, it's a good idea to flash back what happened during the day. Often times, dreams are the reflection or deframentation of our current life situation. By going over what happen in our daily activites, the message, meaning and lesson of the dream could reveal itself. As she puts it : "Dream is a progress report of our current life situation."

A Banquet ?

My company was engaging in some kind of contest or fund raising of cooking. I was appointed a coordinator. I remembered going around telling everyone the procedures to follow. We had all kind of dishes, but strangely, I only remember tasting ice cream made by my boss. and there was an outside contractor present in the fund raising process. What function it served, I had no memory. Then I remember my home's wooden floor was flooded, all wet ..... I had trouble connecting dots of this dream. It did not make any sense, no central theme, and it's trivial. I woke up feeling disconnected with all these dream pieces.

I WILL experience an AMAZING lucid dream tonight!

No news is good news

There is not much news in my lucid dream training. I still do not recall any dreams after the 4 and 1/2 hour wakening. Deep inside, I know that there are lots of activites flashing in my dream mind, but the usual heavy veil of sleepiness prevent my conscious mind from uncovering its content.

My better luck is from the next 90-minute interval. I am using an affirmation throughout the day " My conscious mind is always available to me in my dream". Our conscious mind is a critical factor in the training. For all of my dreams, my conscious mind is always out for lunch or take a leave of abscence, it is never there! How can I have my conscious mind to participate in my night venture? I have no answer. Awareness and expansion of our conscious mind into the realm of unconscious will take time, dedication and patience. They literally reside in complete different dimensions. They can interpenetrate each other but only through diligent training. Well, to get to where I want to be, I have no choice but keep trying.

"My Conscious mind is always available to assist me in my dream"

Self imposed belief and behavior?

I am ready to go on a trip by train. I don't know the destination, but it is somewhere west of Los Angeles. I am walking down the stairs of train station, but I am confused, I don't know which terminal to go. So, I ask a lady, "Can you tell me which station I need to go, I need to get to Los Angeles." She said, follow me, I am going the same direction. I feel relieved and follow her moving about the zig-zag mazes of the station to the ticket window.

The cost for the ride is $15.00. It's my turn for the purchase, I pull a $20 bill and give it to the clerk. (I don't remember getting $5.00 back). Then the clerk just hand me a big stack of coins ( tickets to ride) and tell me to pick however many coins that I think is worth of the money I paid. I somehow instinctly calculate in my mind and assuming 1 coins is worth of 3 dollars, so I pick 5 coins that amount to $15.00, the cost of the train ride.

While we are waiting for the train, the lady is interested in the fruit display in the vending machine. She ask me to hold her coins for her while she grab something to eat. I look at the coins and suddenly realize that she has 15 coins. Well, I was mistaken, I need 15 coins to ride and now I am short of 10 coins. I am thinking about going back to the ticket window to get more, but the train is coming. It is too late, I panic....and feel embarrassed, I don't want that lady to know that I am so stupid that I paid for the full price and yet only get 5 coins. Now I don't know what to do... then I woke up from this uneasy situation.

If dreams are the reflection of mind. What this dream really means? I was contemplating it throughtout the day. May be it doesn't have any meaning at all , or could it possible that it is reflecting my deep seated subconscious programming?

In the dream scene, the clerk who handed me a big stack of coins (tickets) did say that I can have as many coins as I think its worthy of my payment. Well, I could have grabbed a handful of may be 15, 30 or more, but I chose to pick only 5. Am I having a self imposed limiting belief that I am only worthy of 5 coins? Am I just short changed myself about my life's achievement and worthiness? You may think I have stretched too far for it is only a dream. Is it?

The lesson and message from our dream is usually subtle, imbedded and hidden behind the scene. I am fascinated with our mind and our dream. It uses story, scenery, interaction with others, and ten million other totally outrageous and illogical ways to convey and to communicate. Isn't that fantastic? It can be a truly wonderful adventure. One of the reasons I pursue the lucid dreaming training is because I like to explore my inner consciousness, the part of me that knows all, sees all, and is all. It is out here just several square inches above my neck. Scientists call that our three-pound universe.

"Understanding the system" a manual for life!

This has been the third nights that I was not able to sleep after the 4 and 1/2 hour's wake up. I feel a little frustrated. If I can't fall asleep then I can't experience any dreams, let alone lucid dreaming. I hope the situation is only temporary.

last week, I re-discovered a book that I bought 2 years ago. The book called, "Understanding the System". I read it again since last weekend. It is a book full of wisdom. This is not an ebook, it is beautifully bounded in 3-ring binder. After I finished reading it, I can not help thinking "I would love to get this book to a million hands". The messages are powerful and very enlightening. So, I called the phone number listed, and sent email contact. But, unfortunately, neither the number nor the email were working. Have they gone out of business? It is possible!

I have read many beautiful and powerful books over the last 4 years that are now out of print. It is possible that the wisdom and knowledge conveyed in those books are so advanced spiritually , majority of humanity are not ready to accept them. There are simply not enough audience to sustain its existence.

I really like to contact the author of "Understanding the System". I like to see if he has any projects that worth pursuing. My proposal will be to form a partner with one of my favorite e-zine author to promote this book in the internet. Well, it is a great idea that has to wait for now.

Am I dreaming?

For the last two days, I did not have much success in lucid dreaming training. Early this morning, I used affirmation after the first 4 and 1/2 wakening, I recited many times "Next time I am dreaming, I want to remember to recognise I am dreaming". I found myself unable to sleep after the affirmation. Well, no sleep no dream.

During the day, I repetitvely affirm "All things are of the substance of dreams", "Am I dreaming?", whenever I get up from my chair, walk over the hallway, go to bathroom, turn around a corner. I am trying to instill my waking moment with this realization and question. Hopefully, the practice could spill over to the dream state, and I will ask the question when I am dreaming.

All things are of the substance of dreams.

Funny looking-hat and tattered blue jeans! - Dreams

Funny looking-hat and tattered blue jeans!

This early morning, I experimented one of the lucid dreaming induction techniques called "Wild", Wake Induced Lucid Dreaming. After the 1st 90 minutes woke up, I got back to sleep again (because this is Sunday), and started counting process of "1... I am dreaming, 2... I am dreaming, 3... I am dreaming ....". If somewhere along random thought interrupt the counting, I supposed to go back to 1 again. When I read that technique, I thought it was simple and I definitely can do it.

Here is what happened when I did it early morning.

I will count to about 6 then a random thought will pop into my mind, " why are your doing this? this is not supposed to be, .....", then I lost count. Allright, no problem back to square one. "1... I am dreaming, 2... I am dreaming, 3... I am dreaming...." then about 7, again " Have you finished working on that project?" "Time is running out......", lost count again. I was in this hopeless loop for at least seven or eight times, until I suddenly realized what was happening. All right, I now resolve to have uninterrupted counting at least to 50. I finally was able to count to 50, with one interruption that I did not reset to 1 again. I thought I was a meditator, the silence of mind is no stranger to me. Little did I know, our mind sometimes has mind of its own. We have very little control over it unless we exert some effort. This method supposed to keep body asleep and mind awake to the point that I will gradually slip into the dream state but still have my conscious mind awake and aware. I shall do it again some other time.

After a while, I had two brief dreams.

I am having a conversation with a colleage who I worked with at Falcon Cable TV. more than 10 years ago. He is asking me some financial data that I showed him earlier. But I am not able to understand his question. He also wear a very funny looking hat while he is talking, I thought to my self to compliment him, but when he turn around from his previous position the hat is gone. strange.....

I somehow quite conscious and aware that my pant fall out in front of my colleage, I am not embarrassed or ashamed, but I feel a need to get another pant, but I could not find anything suitable. One of the pants is smelly so I put it back. The only one that I can find is a tattered blue jeans. I hesitate , then I see another co-worker have one on which is completely torn apart. Well, since she can wear that then I can wear this. Dream faded!

There is no physical law, no social constraint, simply no laws of any kind exist in the dream world. It might be the reason I was not embarrassed of my pant fell off. When we are in the dream state, anything goes, anything is possible.

A dream world is a unique dimension unlike that of waking world. We have the opportunities to loosing up, seeing reality in different light, performing miraculously superman-like task of flying, traveling to enchanting distant land in an instant. Anything imaginable is possible. That is where I am going!

Helicopter for mom and Lost in the jungle of city

Helicopter for mom and Lost in the jungle of city!

Early morning about 4:30 am I woke up from alarm, tried to think of my dream content. But the only impression is, I dreamed, but what?

The next 90 minute interval I woke up at about 6:00 am, vaguly remembering that my family bought a helicopter for my mom. All of us were gathering on the field to learn how to use it. Then I woke up from it laughing to myself, a helicopter?

Since this is Saturday morning, I don't intend to get up early. So, I did not set alarm and got right back to sleep.

Here is the next dream scenario:

I am driving to work and arrive at a business district located at the corner of Wilshire and Wells Fargo, I get on the elevator and then find out that this is not where I should be working. I supposed to be working at the corner of Wilshire and Pacific. The time is 7:15am. I am a little worried that I will be late. But, I decide to have a breakfast in a near dairy shop. The dairy shop are full of teenagers, some playing games, some doing homework. One of them talk to me and say something like, that particular food is good here. The table is dirty so I ask waitress to clear the table. I then think of calling my co-worker Cristina to get the direction to go to my office. (whether I called or not, I have no recall)

And then the dream faded. When I woke up I felt everything was fine and was relieved to know that.

There were opportunities here for my gaining lucidity if my conscious mind was present. First, the place I work, second, the teenagers in dairy shop early morning in the business district. These are unusual situations, but my conscous mind did not kicked in to recognize the oddity of these. So, I dreamed but not aware that I was dreaming!

This last scenario is much more vivid than most of my dreams, but still lack of continuity and coherence. More work to do!

A baseball turns to cellphone - A Dream

This early morning I dreamed of some big guys playing baseball. They have great skills that are enviable by others. At the end of the game, I saw one of the player threw a fast ball to another player. The other player caught the ball with ease, but strange thing is as soon as he caught the ball, it suddenly became a cell phone, and he was talking to it. I then woke up from it.

This is another case of missed opportunity. My critical thinking faculty (conscious mind) just isn't working in my dream. I did not recognize the strangeness of the ball turning into a cell phone. I have not learned to ask question when something strange like this happens.

In my dream I was not a participant in the game, I was more like a spectator. I also had the feeling that I only remember the tail end of my dream. There was much to it that I couldn't remember. I wonder may be I should get into some kind of memory training so that I can remember the whole dream.

Roll-up machine for Dad!

I got this unsettling dream about my father. In the dream, he asked me to change his wound dressing, but I don't know how. Instead I called my mon to do it. He was upset that I couln't do it for him. And then strange thing is, we have a machine that I suppose to roll my father up 2-3 feet high and then gently put him down. Because he was upset, he dropped himself 2-3 feet down abruptly. I was sure it can hurt a lot.

When I woke up, I thought the machine itself did not make any sense. But since the logical portion of my mind is completely turn off while I was in the dream state, I did not question the validity or the function of the machine. It seemed normal and made perfect sense at the time.

If I was lucid, I probably took my father for a flight knowing that it does not matter my father was sick or well, in the dream state, the deaf can hear, the blind can see, the sick get well. A whole new universe is waiting to be explored with unlimited potentiality. Yes, even the sky is no limit.

Fear of getting lost!

I have no doubt that I had dreamed right before I woke up at 5:00am, but because of heavy sleep, I had hard time staying focus or recall any of it.

I woke up from the second interval alarm of 6:30am, the dreams were still foggy, I can recall only small portion of two scenarios.

I and my son stayed in a hotel. When it was time to leave, I wasn't ready, interesting though, people that will occupy my suite suddenly flooding into my door, I was devastated. Luckily, a person reported the situation to the staff and I was able to stay.

Another dream was that the staff of my company needed to drive 8 miles down the 57 freeway for a meeting. I was reluctant to do so and felt apprehensive. I was worried that giving my terrible sense of direction, I could not find the meeting place.

These dreams have the element of fear and insecurity. It is quite possible an extension of my waking situation.

If I were lucid, what will the scenarios be different? Well, one of the possibilities might be to confront my issue, know that I am in control, to dissolve the uneasiness and apprehension and to act fully confident that I have great sense of direction, will quickly find the meeting place and enjoy the ride. To be lucid in a dream enables us to have power and opportunity to transform our life.

Can't rember a damn thing!

Due to the weekend, I always sleep late. Last night, I watched a movie "Cleopatra" a 1999 version. I watched the old one had " Elizabeth Taylor" as a starring role more than 20 years ago. That production may be grand and expensive at the time, but 1999's version made this historically mesmerizing figure alive and vibrant. She was not only beautiful, but also smart, ambitious, risk taking, sinister at a time, a true surviver. That film went great length to plot the character brilliantly. I really enjoyed the movie. By the time I finished watching, it was about 1:00am.

May be because I slept late, the set schedule was interrupted. I could not remember anything on either the first interval or the second interval setting. But strange though, I felt that I had dreamed a complex dream with many zigzag scenarios in it, I just can't get a handle of it.

A Goddess?

Last night, I had trouble falling asleep on the 90 minutes interval. We had heavy rain in Southern California coupled with several explosive thunder storms. I felt the ground shook very distinctly and imagined there might be something out there hit by the lightening.

After a long while I started to have a dream, I remembered my boss was in the scene, she was instructing me for some religious ritual that I repeatedly questioned her. I kept saying, "Is that what you mean ?" for every instruction she gave me.

And then the scene changed, I was entering a temple-like structure , sensing myself wearing a beautiful white silk-like gown, my shoulders were bare, looking very much like a goddess. I entered the temple and people bowed to me, however, I just remembered my walking into it and could not remember what happened afterwards.

I was not lucid in the dream. Apparently, my reality checking habit has not sunk deep enough into my subconscious mind.

I am getting a digital watch this weekend. The reality checking habit need to be cemented into deeper part of my mind in order for me to be aware that I am dreaming.

I also have several arsenals by my side for my lucid dreaming practice. I have just borrowed from local library Stephen LaBerge's lucid dreaming books. I heard that by constantly reading books about lucid dreaming is one way of getting the subconscious mind in gear for the real thing.

PS. This part of journal comes after several hours of thinking of my early morning's dream.
Now, come to think of it. I may be very close to having lucidity in my dream. The act of questioning my boss' instructions may be a signal of my trying to validate the logic or reasonableness of her instruction. Unfortunately, I did not remember any of her instruction, so I can't say that for sure. To be able to ask "Am I dreaming" inside of our dream, is one of the common ways to gain lucidity. It is when we encounter something strange, or out of ordinary that we ask the question and then the subsequent act of reality checking becomes possible.

Am I dreaming? :)

A woman and smelly trash - A Dream

I followed the set schedule to get up 4:30 am last night , but felt groggy and sluggish, could not remember anything. I then set the 90 minutes interval alarm of 6:00am. This time I woke up 5 minutes earlier than the set time and remembered some of my dream.

A young woman was in the dream, I did not remember how she looked like, but sensed that she has certain charm. She persuaded my son and me to take her in and also paid her. I was skeptical of her motive. In my dream I thought she was kind of person that once you got involved with her, it would be very difficult to get rid of. And then the scene changed to weekly trash collection in our neightborhood. I forgot to put my trash can out of my house, so I watched the truck sped off and left my trash can (full of trash) behind. I got kind of sinking feeling. I had to tell my mom that I would haul the trash can to Albertson's dump site. I also physically handled the ugly, and smelly trash.

A weird and meaningless dream. But the fact that I got up 5 minutes before the alarm sounded was an improvement.

Now that I have 4-5 days entries of my dreams, I can detect some pattern . The first 4 and half hours of sleep served the purpose of relaxation and rejuvenation. That was absolutely essential for my physical and mental health. That is why I was not able to recall any of my dreams for that period, because I need at least that much time of sleep. I also noticed that I do not sleep too soundly for the next 90 minutes. I would be affirming " I will remember my dreams tonight" many times and enter into twilight state of consciousness. In a way, I think I am making some progress here. As a matter of fact, it's kind of exciting to go to bed, bacause you never know what is coming up in the dream.

Where were my dreams?

I am afraid I do not have any meaningful reflection on my dream journal today cause I could not remember any dreams at all.

In the Lucid Dreaming Kit, Bradley Thompson suggested to buy a digital watch so that we can do reality checking every hour on the hour. I think this might be a good idea. Since I now do reality checking very randomly and sometimes entire half day will pass before I remember doing it. I need to put a lot more effort on this early stage of learning lucid dreaming.

As a beginner of learning lucid dreaming, the most important thing is to have good dream recall. This part will be the hardest and probably takes the longest practice, at least for me. As I have mentioned in my previous journals, my dream recalls were mostly skatchy, incoherent and fragmented.

Like last night, I knew I dreamed deep in my psyche, but just could not get any impression of what happened. It is almost like my dreams were buried under 6-foot deep sand, I knew they were there, but where? and what?

Ok, enough of this "beat myself up". I surfed the Net and found out many people also experience what I have gone through. After all, to master lucid dreaming is no one night stand. It takes effort, intention and a lot of patience. So, let's get started!

Shopping for two - A Dream

I have followed the routine last night. The first interval of 4 and 1/2 hours waking up did not bear any fruit of dreams of any kind. So, I set up subsequent 90 minutes interval and woke up at 6:30am.

My dream was vague and foggy. I remembered my co-worker Trista was there. I remembered about go shopping, got to the register stand and paid two items, but what did I buy was completely beyond me. And there was a sense of favor being played out here. I think partially because of my relationship with Trista. She and I have been working on AT & T's accounts closely, we have been helping each other in that regard. But the dream thing was just bits and pieces, like puzzle that had many missing pieces, and it was completely incomprehensive.

I was contemplating my approach of learning lucid dream. I would like to abandon using "Audio Stimulation CD", as least temporarily. This CD is 1 hour long, and I know that when the CD is playing, I would not fall asleep. So, I practically lose good one hour of sleep. By the time of first interval I was still tired and sleepy. Instead of using this electronic gadget, I am going to use reality checking, intention affirmation and let nature take over the learning process. I don't know how thing will work out, or how long it would take, but I am going to continue on course to learn lucid dreaming.

The best has yet to come!

My dream session for Last night was disapponting. I did not remember having any dreams on 4 and 1/2 hours and subsequent 90 minutes interval setting. Nothing, a Zip! So, I am going to stop my journal right here. Stay tuned for my next journal. Who knows, may be the best has yet to come!

A conspiracy ?

Last night, I faithfully set up alarm to go off at 5:00am. But for some reason, I heard the alarm but I was too tired to get up. So, I actually just turned it off and went back to sleep. I did not even set up the 90 minutes interval. But I must have some kind of internal clock set, I woke up at 6:30am and remembered some part of my dream.

I dreamed of a person who had an association with me long time ago. The person seemed to engage in some kind of deception, but I didn't quite get what was it. Th person either tried to alter or destroy certain kind of evidence. Then I found out the deception, so I said to the person that if you use that to against me, you will get consequences. I did not remember my tone of voice. Was I threatening or just give a warning, I don't know. The attitude of the person seemed to be indifferent of what he was trying to do. And then, I woke up from the dream.

Come to think of it, there were many of my dreams like this, no conclusions, no full account of what's happening, just bits and pieces. It would be nice that a dream has a continuous story line. But for a starter, I just want to be lucid in my dream and remember it.

my car

Last night, I set up an alarm to go off at 5:00am. While I woke up, I had an impression of having a dream but I could not remember any detail of it.

So, I set up the next interval of 90 minutes of alarm at 6:30am. This time I remembered I was in some kind of business trip. When I got back to where my car parked, I found my car's layout was quite strange. The hood of my car was all lay flat on the ground and the front panel instruments were all attached to the hood. Apparently the instruments are all on the "ON" position. I also noticed that my car was not my white-color Toyota Camry, instead it was Honda Accord ( my son's car). If I were lucid at the time, I would have noticed the strangeness of the whole thing and asked "Am I dreaming?" and then realized that I was in a dream, and started to take control of the direction and content. But this dream was like thousands that I have over the years. Nothing is illogical in the dream world. You could see a blue moon and bright red trees and felt totally making sense. The key is to instill the conscious mind into that realm and question it's validity. The dream world is the world of thoughts and thought forms, and the construction of the content is instantaneous. Time is not linear like what we know in the conscious world. Fascinating indeed!

I guess I have a long way getting there. Well, as they say, the journey itself is worthwhile.

Rome isn't build in one minute, no dream? no problem!

Last night, about 12:30 am I set up my alarm to go off at 5:30am. Well, I woke up just about 10:00 minutes before 5:30am, and my mind drew completely blank of any signs and hints of dreams. It was as if I was completely dreamless during those hours. So, I got up and read some book. To continue my experiment, I set up alarm again 90 minutes later, which is about 7:10am.

Well, I found myself unable to sleep after that. I got a feeling that I was conscious the whole time. So, before the alarm went off at 7:10am, I put on my "Super Longevity" CD for half an hour of programming session.

Apparently, last night's session was not successful. I was quite diligent on setting the intent of having a lucid dream and also being able to remember it. I have probably affirming the statement over 10 minutes long. But as they say, Rome is not built in one day. So, I will continue to program my mind for lucid dreaming. A thousand miles journey starts in a single step. Here I am!

A new year resolution!

Time is just quietly ticking away every moment of our life. It has been a month that I was absent from my blog page. I am now contemplating what I would like to accomplish this year.

Astral travel seems to be a hit or miss kind of thing. I occasionally have the experience but it is not truly profound or particularly meaningful. I think lucid dreaming would be a good way to know myself in a deeper level. "Dreams are the royal roads to the knowledge of the mind." We spend typically 6-8 hours a day sleeping. Well, why not make it an adventure ? We all know that dreams are the creation of our unconscious mind, the part that houses our experiences, our emotions, our likes, dislikes, our fears, our desires for all the thousands of incarnations.

In order to evolve spiritually, we need to know ourselves ( noted it is plural) and eventually transcend all the illusions that we hold so dearly in this physical plane of existence. Dream is a perfect instrument for spiritual advancement. The fact that we all dreams , and that we all sleep, make it a great tool to understand deeper part of us.

So, from this point on, I will be recording on my blog page my dream experiences and make it my dream log. My new year resolution for the year 2005 is to learn lucid dreaming and make it an adventure of the mind.

For the last week, I felt excited just by readying myself for going to bed. I actually looking forward to it. So, stay tuned! I am going to experience a lucid dream tonight.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

On Sunday night, 5th of February 2005, I actually remembered myself using a sharp blade to kill two snakes. When I woke up from the dream, I had a sense of euphoria, sensing that I have done something that I would have never done before.

I actually killed two snakes with absolute no fear. That is incredible!

A new year

In retrospect, the year of 2004 was a year of many external experiments. I have hopped from program to program, went through many phases of searching. DNA activation, Gateway discovery, Inner expansion consulting, side effect result from meditation, searching for ways to attract prosperity to gain financial freedom. All the attempts to break free from the daily grind.

I admit, not all the programs work. I am like a person lost her key in the house, but searching the key outside of house just because the outside is brighter and I don't quite trust myself yet to find the answer of life. It is time to switch gear, and to search inward for the answer.

I will use different approach for year 2005. I still have many beautiful tools that I got from last year's search. But I will work consciously and intently with my higher self or you can call a mystical traveler to fulfill my goals in life. For the last 4 years, I have purposely focused on my spiritual growth. For the year 2005, I will be working in all areas of my life, family, career, finance and spirit. This is a year of balance. I will continue being light, radiating light wherever I go, I have tugged away in my consciousness all the higher teachings that I received for the last 4 years. I am grateful for what I have learned, what life has taught me moment to moment. I just hope I have learned well and move on to even higher level of consciousness and awareness.

I still have soul travel experiences from time to time. Just a couple of nights ago, while I was in a twilight state of being, I felt a pulling of my hair on the crown chakra area, and I floated immediately afterwards. I have visited some unknown areas. When I was back to my ordinary senses, I complained to myself, the places were too dark, and I can't see clearly what was happening.

Saturday, December 18, 2004

I have been neglecting my blog page long enough. I started to realize that when I was off-track of my path, I am very restless and my mind went many different directions. It is time to get back on track.

On the other hand, I am also started to realize that I am almost on the verge of retirement age. About 6 years from now, I would be 59 1/2 years old, government recommended retirement age. My idea of retirement is not really retire from life, but retire from a job. Am I prepared for that mentally ? NO! Am I prepared for that financially? NO! What do I need to do to play catch so that I can comfortably retire in 6 years.

So, the search went on. I borrowed a book from library called: Multiple streams of Internet income. I found the information fascinating and sounded like many great ideas. For many nights I read whenever I have a spare moment. I even open an online store and ready to capitalize the exploding Internet business. The race is now on.

Now, advertising! What do I do with it? There are many methods you can implement but some of them are quite complicated and for a non-technical person like me it is merely impossible.
